This year at Lotus, Student Council dedicated one of the hallway walls for students to write heart-felt “Complimittens,” or compliments written on mitten-shaped paper. This event was completely free and everyone was welcome to participate in spreading kindness and letting others know they are cared for.

This extra boost of kindness is a nice way to help students deal with the stress of finals this week.

Students seemed excited to post compliments addressed to their friends. Mahdi Rahmouni shared his thoughts on Complimittens saying, “It is a good way to boost motivation for students even if you’re shy towards others.”
