Holiday Singing Grams Spread Cheer!
Lotus students delivered singing grams to students and staff!
High School Choir spread joy and cheer this holiday season by delivering singing grams to students and staff. Members of the Lotus community could purchase a gram for $3.00 to surprise their friends. Lotus’s most talented students participated to sing cheerful tunes and brighten people’s days. The singers were Any Padron Luque (10th), Juan Covarrubias (11th), Erin Moon (9th), Gabi Lagunes Arias (9th), and Cristopher Millan (11th). The money raised from the singing grams went to the LSE music department. The goal was to sell at least 40 tickets, but the choir students are happy to report they surpassed their goal.
“It was really nice going and singing for teachers especially because they really appreciated that and were grateful. Some of the kids were really excited too and excited to buy them for their friends. I didn’t expect people to like them that much, so I was really surprised. That made me feel happy,” sophomore Any Padron Luque shared.
“Little things like this when we go out of our way to surprise the people we love and appreciate are what make Lotus a special place to be,” said Ms. Khadija, who was sent a gram from Ms. Craig.
